Ask a business what it needs before it can sell eSIMs under its own name, and the answer is usually an app. Then watch how a customer actually gets one. A link arrives on WhatsApp, and the preview says "Tap to install. No app required." The customer taps it, a page opens with a QR code and an Install button, and they install the eSIM from there. Nobody downloaded an app, ours or yours.
Everything the customer saw along the way comes from pages we host, and Brand Studio puts your name on them. Basic covers the install page and the link. The new Advanced tier covers the rest: install links on your own domain, printed install cards, Apple and Google Wallet cards, and a home-screen app. With both, a travel agency, a kiosk or a company still building its own platform can sell eSIMs in its own brand from the first sale. When its own app arrives, the install page its customers know stays the same.
Advanced launches with a founding price. Subscribe by 31 January 2027 and it costs $7.50 a month instead of $15, for as long as you stay subscribed.
Six places your customer sees your brand
| Where | What the customer sees | Tier |
|---|---|---|
| The message you send | A link preview with your name and logo: "Your [brand] eSIM is ready" | Basic |
| The install page | Your logo and colours, with buttons that reach you by WhatsApp, email or phone | Basic |
| The address | esim.yourbrand.com instead of our domain | Advanced |
| A printed card | Your logo, a QR code that installs the eSIM, and your contact details | Advanced |
| The phone's wallet | A card in your colours showing the data left and the plan's validity | Advanced |
| The home screen | Your icon, opening their eSIM page, even offline | Advanced |
Basic costs $70, once. Until you switch it on, the install page shows our name. Once it is on, the page shows yours, with a "Get more data" button that goes to your shop. The page is drawn each time the customer opens it, so links you sent before you switched Basic on change too.
Zesimo's install page speaks seven languages: English, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Spanish, German and Albanian. It follows the language of the customer's phone, falls back to the default you choose, and reads right to left in Arabic and Urdu. To set it up, paste your website address, and Brand Studio fills in your name, logo and brand colour.
Sell from the portal now, connect your app later
If you are building an app or a booking platform, the usual plan is to finish it and then add eSIMs. That plan sends every customer who travels before launch to buy from someone else.
You can sell in the meantime without writing code. In the reseller portal, choose a plan and place the order. The order page gives you the customer's install link to copy, or to send straight to WhatsApp. It also shows whether each customer has opened their link, so you can chase the ones who have not before they fly.
When your app is ready, your developer connects it to the same account
through our REST API. Every eSIM the API returns carries an
install_url, the same link the portal gave you, on your own
domain if you have one.
An eSIM ordered in the Zesimo portal and one ordered through the API open the same install page, so customers you serve before launch need nothing migrated.
Two details make the handover cleaner. The "Get more data" link can carry the eSIM's ID. Once your app has a top-up screen, point the button at it, and the app knows which eSIM the customer means. The months before launch also show you which destinations your customers buy, so the app's catalogue starts from sales rather than guesses.
At a counter, the printed card is the product
A kiosk or a phone shop may have no use for an app. What it needs is something to hand over.
Brand Studio Advanced prints install cards in three formats: an 80 mm receipt for thermal printers, an A6 handout card, or an A4 sheet of four.
Each card has your logo, the plan, a QR code that installs the eSIM, and the code to type by hand if the camera will not scan. Below that come the steps and your WhatsApp, email and phone. You choose the card's language from the same seven, and print it on paper or save it as a PDF.
There is no stock to hold, because the eSIM is created when you place the order. The customer scans the card with the phone that will use the eSIM. That phone needs a connection while it installs, so a counter with Wi-Fi can finish the sale on the spot. Treat a printed card like cash: anyone who scans the code can install the eSIM, and the card tells the customer to keep it private.
For travel agencies, the sale continues after the booking
An agency can put the card in the booking pack or send the link with the itinerary. The timing matters more than the format: issue the eSIM in the week of travel, not at booking, for the reasons in our last issue.
Most of what Advanced adds for an agency happens during the trip. From the install page, the customer can add the eSIM to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet as a card in your colours. It shows the eSIM's status, the data left and how long the plan lasts. The card updates quietly as their usage comes in, and sends a notification when the eSIM starts working.
The home-screen app puts the same page on the customer's home screen under your icon. It opens without a connection and shows the last saved copy. A traveller who has run out of data can still see what they used and how to reach you.
When they want more, the "Get more data" button goes to your shop, or opens a WhatsApp chat with you if you have no shop. From the portal, you add the data to the eSIM they already have, up to three top-ups per eSIM where the plan offers them. The customer installs nothing new, and the second sale is yours.
What it costs, and the price that ends on 31 January
| Basic | Advanced | |
|---|---|---|
| One-time fee | $70 | $30, on top of Basic |
| Monthly fee | None | $15, or $7.50 if you subscribe by 31 January 2027 |
| First payment | $70 | $37.50 if you have Basic, $107.50 if you do not |
The founding price holds for as long as your subscription runs. The offer closes at the end of 31 January 2027 (UTC), and from 1 February new subscribers pay the full $15. If you cancel or let the subscription lapse, coming back later is at the price of the day.
Both tiers are paid from your Zesimo wallet, the same balance you order from, and both are open to approved reseller accounts. The first-payment figures in the table use the founding price.
If your wallet cannot cover a renewal, Advanced stays on for seven days. After that it pauses. Links on your domain then forward to the same page on ours, still in your brand while Basic is switched on, so no customer loses their install page. Basic, paid once, stays yours.
Before you start: your domain and Apple Wallet
Your domain needs one DNS record, set wherever you manage the domain. In Brand Studio you choose an address such as esim.yourbrand.com, then add a CNAME record pointing to a target made for your account alone. We get the HTTPS certificate. If you later delete that record, links you sent on that domain stop working, so keep it for as long as customers hold those links.
Apple Wallet cards are issued under our Apple certificate by default, with your brand on the card. If you have an Apple Developer account, you can upload your own pass certificate, and the cards are issued in your name instead.
An app is how you will look after the customers who come back every trip. The first sale only needs a link with your name on it.
The founding price closes to new subscribers on 31 January 2027. Brand Studio is in your reseller portal: open Brand Studio.
